DIVE 2012 stage to host big-name scuba diving experts this month

Experts in scuba diving adventures, Monty Halls, Rory Golden and Paul Rose, will be taking to the stage on both days of DIVE 2012 this month to make presentations about their experiences and the scuba diving industry. The event will take place at the NEC Birmingham from 27th to 28th October, 2012.
The DIVE 2012 event will be taking place at the NEC Birmingham later this month and several well known scuba divers will be taking to the stage to make presentations.
Experts with years of diving knowledge and expertise who have enjoyed diverse scuba diving adventures such as Titanic expert Rory Golden, Paul Rose and Monty Halls, will all be talking about their experiences on the new DIVER stage during the two-day event.
Monty Halls is a British marine biologist and presenter of the BBC TV series Great Escape; Paul Rose is a TV presenter of several BBC documentaries about the ocean, a polar explorer and a professional diver; and Rory Golden is an Irish scuba diver who has visited the site of the sunken RMS Titanic twice.
All three presenters will be sharing stories of their unique scuba diving adventures with visitors of DIVE 2012 on 27th and 28th October, 2012.
Other guest speakers at the dive event will include Mark & Gail Addison and their daughter Ella who will talk about their experiences scuba diving with sharks in South Africa; Mark Dixon and Jeff Cornish from the Darkstar technical-diving team, who have gone on some of the most adventurous deep wreck dives around the UK; and leading UK underwater photographers Alex Mustard and Martin Edge.
DIVE 2012 is one of the biggest scuba diving events in the United Kingdom and more than 300 companies that offer scuba diving holidays, diving gear and equipment, and services will be exhibiting at the annual event.
This year’s expo features two in-hall scuba diving pools, the PhotoZone, the British Isles Experience and the 3D NoTanx Freedive Simulator.
The PADI Village will host seminars, a series of BSAC Pods and a new Kidz Zone as well as many other scuba diving attractions.
Many scuba diving destinations all over the world such as the Caribbean, Red Sea, Indian Ocean and the Mediterranean will be showcased throughout the event as well as diving sites and attractions around the United Kingdom.
Visitors will also have the chance to win the scuba diving holiday of a lifetime with the free-to-enter draw. The prize includes a 12-day diving trip to South Africa worth £7,500 and shark diving excursions with shark expert Mark Addison.

A group of diving volunteers have headed to one of the most popular scuba diving destinations in the United States this week to try and unlock an underwater mystery. The National Association of Black Scuba Divers visited the Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary to identify a ship off Key Largo which is believed to date back to the 1900s.
