Emperor Diving (formally known as The Dive Tribe until early 2010) are situated on the beachfront at the Moevenpick Hotel in El Gouna. Emperor is one of the market leaders in the provision of diving services and instruction in Egypt, and have a pedigree that is second to none.

Matt and Kelly (from the UK and NZ respectively) will meet and greet you, and welcome you 'on board' from the moment you arrive at this extremely well-run dive centre. Highly professional, warm, friendly and incredibly accommodating – nothing is too much to ask of them and the rest of their team. Pete and Dolphin (yes – Dolphin, because of his amazing ability to find dolphins on over 50% of his dives!) and the rest of the Tribe mirror this attitude, and from their exceptional safety briefings, roll-calls and guiding, you are in the best of hands.

Daily dive boat trips are the norm, and to all the favourite hotspots too. This is genuinely some of the best resort diving you can do in the Red Sea - Wrecks in abundance at nearby Abu Nuhas, home of the 'Big 4' Red Sea wrecks; beautiful reefs (Giftun, Dolphin House etc.) and some very special marine encounters are daily occurrences here. Their belief in total customer satisfaction has resulted in them purchasing a new fast RIB too, so for those that don't want to do a full day trip, there are at least 2 RIB trips per day to local sites, diving on what the customers want to dive – and of course offering the freedom to stop and dive anywhere and at anytime should something special be seen!

Pods of dolphins are commonplace, and there is no better way to virtually guarantee diving with them than using the RIB. What is more, for those of you holidaying with family, you will be back on shore at the dive centre within 90 minutes of you leaving it in the first place – so no 'stress' from the loved ones!

The full range of PADI courses are available here in the air-conditioned classrooms, and full kit hire, kit room and rinse tanks, beach shower, Nitrox (EAN), DPV's and a well stocked dive shop for souvenirs and spares are amongst the facilities. A bar and restaurant with terrace sits on top of the centre – what better place to spend a while with friends and family before the next dive?!

And there is even more to consider too! Perhaps take the family on the dive boats too – snorkelling with dolphins is an option that the non-divers in your party may welcome?
