Abaco Beach Resort releases Bahamas dive package

Travellers looking for scuba diving holidays this winter will find everything they desire at the Abaco Beach Resort in Marsh Harbour in the Bahamas as it launched three holiday packages for visitors, one of them including really good scuba diving holiday options.

The Bahamas Dive Package enables tourists to enjoy scuba diving holidays at the resort and includes five nights' accommodation and three days of tank dives with DIVE ABACO including all tanks, weights and weights belts equipment. The package allows travellers to enjoy scuba diving in Bahamas where they can explore an array of beautiful diving sites full of colourful coral, tropical fish and the chance to catch sighting of sharks and dolphins. The package starts from $1,070 per person based on double occupancy and a scuba diving trip can be replaced with a snorkelling excursion.

Holiday makers can also choose the Book a Room, Free Boat Rental Package which includes five nights' accommodation and three days use of a sport boat where guests can head off to cruise along the beautiful azure waters of the ocean and visit the surrounding area's private beaches and historic sites.

The Holidays Great Adventure Packages includes a choice of three resort activities including one-day snorkelling trips, one day car rental, one day boat rental, one day bike rental, and a ferry transfer to the neighbouring Hope Town, Mon-O-War Cay or Guana Cay. The package also includes five nights' accommodation at the luxury resort.

All three holiday packages are available until March 2011 with some availability over the Christmas and New Year period.
Situated five miles from Marsh Harbour Airport and a 50-minute plane ride from Fort Lauderdale, Palm Beach, Miami and Orlando, Abaco Beach Resort is the largest Bahamas hotel in the area and has been established since 1955.

The luxury Caribbean resort offers 72 ocean rooms with private balconies or terraces, four one-bedroom and two-bedroom suites which feature full kitchens, and nine condominiums which offer one, two or three bedrooms.

Guests will receive complimentary use of the resort's tennis courts, fitness centre, two outdoor heated swimming pools, non-motorized water sports equipment, and two gourmet restaurants.

Children can enjoy plenty of fun activities with the Kid's Club program where they can explore the beautiful island by foot or by bike whilst learning about the local sea life with snorkelling activities. Local Bahamian children are also involved in the program, and kids can make new friends, learn how to cook and clan fish and make traditional island crafts.
