Approximately 2.5 hours road transfer from Havana, Varadero is Cuba's largest and most famous resort.

With beaches that have been voted as 'one of the top 10 beach destinations in the world' (Conde Naste), Varadero is a bustling resort with quality hotels, bars, night clubs and all the resort facilities anyone can want. Most importantly, Varadero offers excellent diving, and out hotels have been deliberately selected for their quality and proximity to the dive centres.

Beach life and waters ports are one of the biggest attractions here – wind-surfing, kayaks, pedaloes, kite surfing and the like, together with jet-skis and water-skiing are all available along the beach. And diving of course!

In the 'commercial centre' you will find everything you need – banks (although the hotels will all change currency for you at the same rate), an excellent array of shops, chemists, doctors and a fully equipped hospital.

Whilst Varadero is a superb resort, it is also a great place to base yourself to enjoy the history and culture of the real Cuba too – our staff will be able to provide you with excellent trips and excursions into the heart of the country, speed-boat safaris, and even day trips to the capital – Havana – which should not be missed under any circumstances.
