Scuba diving holidays in Cayo Levisa

Approximately 25 minutes by boat off the northern most coast of Cuba lies Cayo Levisa, a desert island that has 4 kilometres of white powder sandy beach – a true paradise if there ever was one!

A picturesque 2 1/2 hour drive from Havana and its international airport through some of the most breathtaking scenery you will see in Cuba, Cayo Levisa is a remote and unspoilt island that is perfect for couples or those seeking total peace and quiet, and who want to dive.

Idyllic and totally unique, you will be reminded of all of those desert island brochures – clear blue waters, beaches that stretch for miles, populated only in part by the one hotel – more of a collection of thatched or wooden roofed detached beach villas just a few metres away from the shores.

Staying here on a half or full board basis, with excellent catering and a small beach bar, the world is yours – there are less than 40 beach villas, so you share 4 kms of beach with no more than 80 people!

You can exchange money in reception, and there is a superbly stocked shop that has every holiday-makers essentials on the shelves, so whilst this is a real desert island, you are not totally cut off from civilisation!

Beach volleyball and a handful of well-maintained Hobie Cats and kayaks are available for you, and other than these, the only thing to do is to relax! Or dive!

As the day ends, take advantage of the resident yacht, and cruise around the island before attending the beach BBQ in the evening – there is no better way to relax than this!

We recommend that you stay here for either the full duration of your holiday, or split your time between here and Havana – whichever option you choose, be warned! You will not want to leave!!
