Scuba diving holidays in Santa Lucia

Santa Lucia is a remote beach resort, situated on the Atlantic coast of Cuba. Some 3 hours from the international airport at Holguin, Sta Lucia is a beach lovers and divers paradise.

Accessed by driving through the picturesque countryside and across the salt marshes, Sta Lucia offers a small selection of hotels, exquisite beaches, and phenomenal diving in unspoilt, uncongested clear waters.

A small resort, with a few bars and restaurants outside of the hotels, this is a perfect destination to relax, unwind, and dive!

However, there is plenty to do – our hotel offers a full all-inclusive service, and the sports and entertainment programmes are top notch, with a full cabaret every evening from a troupe of highly professional performers.

The powder soft sand stretches for miles, and if catching the rays and topping up your tan is not active enough for you, try kite surfing at the International School on the beach – Sta Lucia is a haven for this rapidly growing sport!

Squash courts, tennis, a well equipped gymnasium, salsa classes and the like are also on hand to occupy you, and aside from the beach and pool scene, there is an excellent kids club to entertain the little ones!

Food is plentiful, and of high quality. On top of the excellent buffet dining, there are also several a la carte restaurants – Italian, Cuban and Fish, and all of these are included in your board basis.

Despite being away from a big commercial centre, the hotel has an array of excellent shops that stock everything you need – from a bucket and spade to branded medicines – and duty free shops, banking facilities and the like.

People come here for the beach, and to unwind, but Sta Lucia is a haven for divers, and the BSAC accredited dive centre sits in the grounds of the hotel. The diving is excellent – varied, with over 30 sites catering for all levels of experience, and in warm and clear waters offering visibility of over 20 metres.
